Janet Louise Mayer

Meriden ? Services for Janet Louise Mayer, 65, rural Ozawkie, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meriden United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Ozawkie Cemetery.

Mrs. Mayer died Friday, April 30, 2004, at Jefferson County Geriatrics Center in Winchester.

She was born April 9, 1939, in Topeka, the daughter of L. Lisle and Coretta Currier Isaacs.

Mrs. Mayer was a senior administrative assistant for the state of Kansas. She attended Meriden United Methodist Church. She was a member of Women of the Moose and Xi Zeta Phi sorority.

She married Albert H. Mayer on June 30, 1972, in Topeka. He died Oct. 8, 1999.

Survivors include a son, Eric L. Mayer, Lansing; a sister, Judith Hollyhead, Denver; a brother, John Isaacs, Corning; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at Barnett’s Meriden Funeral Chapel, where family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
