Hazel I. Mock

? Services for Hazel I. Mock, 92, Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa.

Mrs. Mock died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Village Manor Nursing Home in Ottawa.

She was born Aug. 30, 1911, in Odon, Ind., the daughter of William Edgar and Elva May (Seneff) Potter. She moved to Ottawa shortly after she was born and lived there her whole life. She attended Ottawa High School with the class of 1929.

Mrs. Mock was a rose-house foreman at Willis Nursery in Ottawa for 35 years. She had been a switchboard operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Ottawa as a child.

She married Wilber Dean Mock on Aug. 8, 1929, in Ottawa. He died Dec. 14, 1984.

Survivors include a brother, Ray W. Potter, Ottawa.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. to the service hour Tuesday.

The family suggests memorials to Calvary Baptist Church, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
