John and Donna Isaacks, Grantville, and Aaron and Nazaree Doleman, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their children, Amanda Isaacks and Darrick Doleman, both of Lawrence.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and Emporia State University. She is a teacher with the Perry-Lecompton school district.

The future groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Emporia State University. He is employed by Presbyterian Manor and TherapyWorks in Lawrence.

The couple plan a July 17 wedding in South Park in Lawrence.

Brooke McGary and James McDonald, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Wayne McGary, Lawson, Mo., and Julia McGary, Independence, Mo. She is studying nursing at Neosho County Community College.

The future groom is the son of Russell and Sharon McDonald, Lawrence. He is a Kansas University graduate and a chiropractic physician in Lawrence.

The couple plan a June wedding in Lawrence.

Smith-Kulseth

Jennifer Lynn Smith and Paul Arnold Kulseth, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Edward and Debbie Smith, Brookfield, Mo. She received a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Kansas University. She is a project architect at GLPM Architects in Lawrence.

The prospective groom is the son of Marv and Ann Kulseth, Owatonna, Minn. He received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering from KU. He is a bridge design engineer for the Kansas Department of Transportation in Topeka.

The couple plan a May wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence.
