Grace McIntosh

? Services for Grace McIntosh, 89, Ottawa, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Burial will be in Walnut Creek Cemetery in Wellsville.

Mrs. McIntosh died Monday, March 15, 2004, at Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.

She was born Nov. 1, 1914, in Ottawa, the daughter of Willard B. and Susan Lillian (Ruby) Alcorn. She attended Ottawa High School with the class of 1932 and had been a lifelong resident of Ottawa.

She was a member of Richter United Methodist Church. She was a former member of North Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary of the Warren Black Post No. 60, both in Ottawa.

She married Roy Franklin McIntosh on April 18, 1936, in Ottawa. He died Sept. 25, 1965.

A daughter, Verla Arlene McIntosh, also died earlier.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Wilkerson, Pomona; a son, Douglas McIntosh, Richmond; a sister, Irene Lipper, Green Belt, Va.; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials to Richter United Methodist Church, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa 66067.
