James W. McFarland

Mr. McFarland died March 8, 2004, in Tempe.

He was born March 3, 1942, in Perry, Okla., the son of William Wallace and Norma McFarland. He had lived in Lawrence.

Mr. McFarland was a patent attorney for Cessna and Allied Signals/Honeywell for 25 years.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Diana Aldous McFarland; his mother; six daughters, Cynthia McFarland, Debra Adkins, Shelly Daniels, Tamara Ramirez, Kathy Keith and Kayleen Coker; a son, Kevin Keith; and 12 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Carr Tenney Mortuary in Tempe.
