Orlando, Fla. ? All signs point to injured Orlando Magic forward Grant Hill shelving his comeback attempt this season, league sources told the Orlando Sentinel on Monday.

Magic general manager John Gabriel had no comment on Hill’s status. Gabriel had said Sunday that the Magic would meet Monday with Hill, his agent, Lon Babby, and all the doctors involved to discuss whether he would try to play this season or wait until next season.

But Gabriel said he could not get all the parties together and would shoot for today.

The Sentinel reported it appeared Hill would hold off his comeback until next season.
