• Kansas leads the all-time series, 158-91.
• KU coach Bill Self is 4-0 against the Tigers, and MU head coach Quin Snyder is 3-7 versus the Jayhawks.
• Self (Oklahoma State) and first-year KU assistant Tim Jankovich (Kansas State) each played against the Tigers. Self was 3-6 all-time versus MU, and Jankovich was 3-5.
• Wednesday’s 87-76 loss at Texas Tech snapped the Tigers’ six-game win streak, which included a 93-92 overtime win over No. 8 Oklahoma State in late February.
• The Jayhawks beat MU, 65-56, Feb. 2 at Allen Fieldhouse. Wayne Simien led all scorers with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting. Aaron Miles and J.R. Giddens had 11 apiece. Arthur Johnson and Travon Bryant had 15 and 10 points.

Miles needs six steals to pass Kirk Hinrich for third place on the Jayhawks’ all-time career steals list. Miles needs two double-figure assist games to tie Vaughn for the KU career record in that category.
