Daetwiler services

? Graveside services for Geraldine “Jerry” Daetwiler, 79, Baldwin, will be at 10 a.m. today at Oakwood Cemetery in Baldwin.

Mrs. Daetwiler died Thursday, March 4, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 23, 1924, in McFarland, the daughter of Edward Bryan and Anna (Smith) Murray. She attended her first few years of school in McFarland, then moved to Los Angeles. She later moved to Herington and graduated in 1942 from Herington High School. She moved in 1947 to Ramona and lived there for 35 years before retiring to Camdenton, Mo., where she lived for 20 years before moving in 2002 to Baldwin.

Mrs. Daetwiler was baptized in 1955 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Ramona and became a member of Hope Lutheran Chapel of Osage Beach after she moved to Missouri.

She married Lauren E. Daetwiler on Oct. 11, 1943, in Yuma, Ariz. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Dennis R. Daetwiler, Monticello, Ind., and Loren E. Daetwiler, Niceville, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Ann Lawrenz, Baldwin; and seven grandchildren.
