School board group meeting in Lawrence

The Kansas Association of School Boards will be host to a series of meetings throughout the state to provide school leaders the opportunity to meet Kansas State Board of Education candidates.

KASB will have a meeting at 7 p.m. July 19 in the Lawrence school district’s board meeting room, 110 McDonald Drive.

The series, titled “What Every Candidate Should Know About Public Education,” has two purposes. The first is to provide candidates information about key educational issues. The other purpose is the provide school leaders the opportunity to meet the candidates.
