The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Fort Scott High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Pittsburg State University. He is employed by Chrysler Financial in Overland Park.

The couple plan an Oct. 16 wedding at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence.

Ambrose-Glinka

Bill and Cindy Ambrose, Lawrence, and Paul and Jill Glinka, Topeka, announce the engagement of their children, Amy Ambrose, Lawrence, and Brad Glinka, Topeka.

The bride-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in education in 1999 from Emporia State University. She is a special education teacher for Topeka public schools.

The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Washburn Rural High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in education in 2001 from Washburn University. He is a fourth-grade teacher for Topeka public schools.

The couple plan a June 12 wedding at Lawrence Heights Christian Church in Lawrence.

Cusick-Nauman

Sandy Cusick, Louisburg, and Ramon Cusick, Indianapolis, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nichole Marie Cusick, to Eric Michael Nauman, son of Bob and Paula Nauman, Bucyrus.

Eric is the grandson of Dr. C.O. and LaVonne Nauman, Lawrence, and Dr. Stanley and Alice Jo DeFries, Lawrence.

The bride-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Louisburg High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Pittsburg State University in 2003. She is a kindergarten teacher in Liberty, Mo.

The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Louisburg High School. He is pursuing a degree in management and finance at Park University in Parkville, Mo. He is a computer specialist with Assurant Employee Benefits in Kansas City, Mo.

The couple plan a July 31 wedding at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood.

The future groom is a 1997 graduate of Lafayette High School, Wildwood, Mo. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in architectural engineering in 2003 from KU. He is employed as a structural engineer by Haris Engineering in Overland Park.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John Sietz, Estes Park, Colo., and Veronica Sietz, Fontana, Calif.

She graduated from Fontana High School in Fontana, Calif. She is a deli manager for Hy-Vee Food Store.

The prospective groom is the son of Doyl and Dianne Merz, Lawrence.

He is a Lawrence High School graduate. He is attending Johnson County Community College. He is an assistant manager for Hy-Vee Food Store.

The couple plan a June 26 wedding at the South Park gazebo in Lawrence.

The future groom is a 1990 graduate of Lawrence High School and Johnson County Community College. He is a fleet Internet manager for Major Cadillac in Kansas City, Mo.

Long-Gillispie

He received a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Arizona in 1998. He is pursuing a doctorate at KU in speech-language pathology. He is employed by KU and Tiny-K in Jefferson and Atchison counties.
