Playing North-South, Eldon Herd and Jo Andersen took first place in A. Grant Sutton and Amy Miller finished second in A and first in B. Competing East-West, Dan Osman and Olivier Urruty finished first in A. Kitty Hagen and Lorene Tebo placed second in A. Helen Huffman and Bob Huffman finished first in B.

• The Lawrence Duplicate Bridge Club met May 28. Nine and a half tables competed in a stratified game that followed a Mitchell movement. Don Brennaman directed the game.

Playing the North-South cards, Olivier Urruty and Dan Osman swept first place in A, B and C. Lois Clark and Harry Shaffer finished second in A. Julia Brooks and Chris Lane were third in A. Mary White and Shirlie Vaughn tied for fourth place in A with Betty Collier and Patt Radford. Second place in B went to Yvonne Hedges and Shirley Reese.

Competing East-West, Cathy Blumenfeld and Lynn Hui placed first in A, B and C. Amy Miller and Grant Sutton took second in A, B and C. Carol Ball and Ann Thompson finished third in A and B.

Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough took first place in A. Clyde Romer and Steve Phelps finished second. Lois Clark and Harry Shaffer were third. Virginia Seaver and Patt Radford placed fourth. Grant Sutton and Amy Miller took fifth in A and first in B. Martie Hartman and Pat Burgstahler finished second in B.
