Written transcript of Clinton speech now available

A written transcript is now available of former President Bill Clinton’s appearance as the featured speaker May 21 at Kansas University.

The Clinton lecture transcript was provided this morning by KU’s University Relations.

Clinton delivered the inaugural Dole Lecture in Allen Fieldhouse. His speech was sponsored by the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics at KU.

KU also announced today that KPTS-TV, the PBS television affiliate in Wichita, will rebroadcast Clinton’s speech from 8 to 9 p.m. Friday, with another rebroadcast from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5.

Smoky Hills Public TV (KOOD-TV in Bunker HIll; KDCK in Dodge City; KSWK-TV in Lakin) also will broadcast the speech from 9 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 9.

The entire speech, plus some of the “modified” Q-and-A, will be included in the hourlong broadcast.
