— Swin Cash had 20 points, six rebounds and five assists as the Detroit Shock spoiled Chamique Holdsclaw's return to the lineup with a 73-65 victory over the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.

Alana Beard led the Mystics with 20 points. Holdsclaw, the WNBA's second-leading scorer, missed five days for personal and medical reasons. She looked rusty, going 3-of-13 from the field for 12 points.
