Ame Mahler Beanland and Emily Miles Terry, authors of the book “Nesting: It’s a Chick Thing,” will be hosting a “Chicks Night Out” at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The event is at Rainy Day Books, 2706 W. 53rd St., in Fairway.

The authors will discuss their book, answer questions and sign copies. The book, written for women, lends advice on decorating, cooking, entertaining and gardening.
