Evelyn L. Graham

Mrs. Graham died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center, Topeka.

She was born Oct. 29, 1935, in Linwood, the daughter of James Henry and Helena Louisa Luckan Toyne. She moved in 1979 from Lawrence to Topeka.

She worked as a seamstress with Kansas Industries for the Blind for 22 years before retiring.

Mrs. Graham was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Topeka; Eagles Lodge Auxiliary No. 309, Lawrence; Kansas Association for the Blind, and the Topeka Visually Impaired.

She married Howard Graham on Oct. 10, 1953, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert Graham and Stephen Graham, both of Topeka, a sister, Mary Ann DaPrato, Altamont, Ill., three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
