The Meadowlark 4-H Club met July 13 at the Pendleton’s farm. Amy Magnuson, vice president, presided. Members answered roll call by telling where they bought fireworks. Members worked on the club banner for the Douglas County Free Fair. The club voted to make a contribution to the Douglas County 4-H Foundation in memory of Connie Walters, the club’s former community leader. The club had a mini fair. Project talks were given by Clarate Heckler, Derby Miller, Miranda Pratt, Jamie Morgison, Will Pendleton and Hanna Bozack.

The next meeting will be Aug. 10 at the farm. Members will make tray favors for Meals on Wheels at 6:30 p.m. and there will be a pizza party. Hosts will be the Pendleton family.
