Virginia M. “Ginny” Unruh

Cassoday ? Services for Virginia M. “Ginny” Unruh, 77, Cassoday, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cassoday United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Cassoday Cemetery.

Mrs. Unruh died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Newman Memorial Hospital, Emporia.

She was born on May 26, 1927, in Little River, the daughter of Elmer and Gladys Teater Reynolds. The family moved to El Dorado when she was in the third grade.

Mrs. Unruh was a member of Cassoday United Methodist Church.

She married Chester E. Unruh on Aug. 6, 1946, in El Dorado. He died Feb. 21.

Survivors include two sons, Allan Unruh, Greenwich, Conn., and Jim Unruh, Lawrence; three daughters, Carol McLaughlin, Emporia, Sue Reece, Wichita, and Linda Polston, Herington; three brothers, Homer Reynolds, Richard Reynolds and George Reynolds; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado.
