Elizabeth Estella “Dolly” Geyer
Marienthal ? Services for Elizabeth Estella “Dolly” Geyer, 78, Marienthal, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marienthal. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Marienthal.
Mrs. Geyer died Monday, July 19, 2004, at Wichita County Hospital, Leoti.
She was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Marienthal, the daughter of Anthony and Cecilia Margaret Baier Baker.
Mrs. Geyer was a homemaker and a lifelong Wichita County resident.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was also a former Wichita County 4-H leader.
She married Elmer R. Geyer on Feb. 11, 1947, in Marienthal. He died Oct. 20, 1998.
Survivors include three sons, Leo Geyer, Danny Geyer and Myron Geyer, all of Leoti; five daughters, Donna Wright, Bird City, Esther Johnston and Polly Witt, both of Garden City, Bonnie Holopirek, Hesston, and Brenda Billings, Lawrence; three brothers, Joseph Baker, Haddam, Louis Baker, Marienthal, and Bernard Baker, Colby; seven sisters, Bernadine Pahls, Cawker City, Marquerite Zellner, Florence Zellner, Mary Ann Winter, Celine Wimmer, Imelda Smith and Inella Scheffe, all of Marienthal; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
