Chiefs sign second-round pick
Defensive tackle Siavii under contract for six years
Kansas City, Mo. ? The Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday signed second-round draft pick Junior Siavii to a six-year contract.
Siavii, 25, a defensive tackle, was the Chiefs first draft pick this year, after the team traded its first-round pick to the Detroit Lions.
No contract terms were announced.
Siavii, a 6-foot-5, 336-pound native of American Samoa, played in 25 games during two years at Oregon. He had 58 tackles, three sacks, a fumble recovery and three passes defended. He earned honorable mention All-Pac 10 honors during his senior season.
