Seeking change
To the editor:
I wouldn’t try to tell God how to do His work, but it seems there are wonderful evangelism opportunities, with members of the Mainstream Coalition scouting out conservative congregations to see how they balance political issues and their nonprofit status.
Imagine this: Someone from the Mainstream Coalition visits a congregation, hears the gospel as he or she has never heard it before and leaves there a changed person.
Amen; so be it. This is my prayer, that what the enemy meant for evil God will use for good.
