Former Kansas University first baseman Ryan Baty drove in four runs with a two-run homer and a pair of singles to lead the Hudson Valley Renegades to a 7-2 win over the Aberdeen IronBirds on Friday night.

Baty is hitting .286 for the Renegades, a Class A farm team of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the New York-Penn League.

Thursday night, Travis Metcalf, another former Jayhawk, stroked his fourth homer of the season for the Spokane Indians, a Class A farm team of the Texas Rangers. Metcalf, KU’s single-season and career home-run leader, is hitting .291 while playing third base for the Northwest League team.
