Waylon the cat enjoys a contemplative moment. He and his litter mate, Willy, belong to Miriam Setterstrom, who named them for her favorite singers, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Now 95, Setterstrom resides in Lawrence, and Willy and Waylon live with her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Alice Thomas, near Linwood.
