Deadline Thursday

Each year, Wildlife and Parks offers a number of special hunts on its land. Hunters looking for high-quality hunting experiences are encouraged to explore the variety offered by these special hunts. There is no charge, but applications are due by next Thursday.

Walk-in hunting

Landowners interested in the Wildlife and Parks walk-in hunting area program are reminded that the deadline for enrollment is July 20. The WIHA program, which began in 1995, grew to almost 960,000 acres in 100 counties in 2003.
