Fund set up for shooting victims

? The ConAgra Foods Inc. plant here has set up a memorial fund for families of employees who police say were killed by a co-worker last week.

Omaha, Neb.-based ConAgra said it will match up to $100,000 in donations from employees and the community. The fund has been set up at Bank of America in Kansas City, Mo.

Police say Elijah Brown, a 21-year-old employee at the plant, took two handguns from a locker on July 2, entered an employee break room during dinner and opened fire, killing five people and wounding two. Brown, who police say appeared angry over teasing he had received from co-workers, then turned the gun on himself.

Police identified the dead workers as Lonnie Ellingburg, 46; Travis Nelson, 23; and Leonardo Rodriguez, 49, all of Kansas City, Kan.; Ardell L. Edwards, 55, of Grandview, Mo.; and Jose Ibarra, 45, of Mexico.

Relatives have said Ellingburg was an uncle to Nelson and nephew to Ardell L. Edwards.
