Fontella M. Hyde

Services for Fontella M. Hyde, 76, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary in Salina. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

Mrs. Hyde died Thursday, July 1, 2004, at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka.

She was born Feb. 3, 1928, in Hays, the daughter of Edward and Emilie Heinze Sula.

Mrs. Hyde worked as a secretary for seven years at the Mowery Clinic in Salina, and for 15 years at Oakdale School in the Salina school district.

She married James H. Hyde, who died June 1, 1988.

Survivors include three sons, Barry J. Hyde and Anthony S. Hyde, both of Lawrence, and Todd J. Hyde, Topeka; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends before the service at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Assn. or Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, sent in care of the mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401-2605.
