Roy and Bonnie Taylor, Lawrence, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 17 with their children and grandchildren on a cruise to Alaska.

Roy Taylor and Bonnie Pippert were married June 15, 1954, in Lawrence. The Taylors owned and operated the Cross Reference Bookstores and Roy’s Gallery for many years in Lawrence.

Their children are Loren and Susan Taylor, Champaign, Ill., and Dallas and Lianne Martin, Denver. They have two grandchildren.
