Larison services

? Graveside services for Donald E. Larison, 67, Winchester, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Fowler Cemetery in McLouth.

Mr. Larison died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskaloosa. He lived in Tonganoxie before moving to Winchester seven years ago.

He was born Jan. 6, 1937, in McLouth, the son of Harry and Ceicl (Carey) Larison. He was raised and attended schools in McLouth.

Mr. Larison was a farmer and worked at the Kmart distribution center. He also worked at Kansas University for seven years.

He married Shirley Rothwell. She and two of their children, Donald E. and Genia Larison, died in a fire in McLouth.

Survivors include his mother, Oskaloosa; a son, David Ruff, Prairie Grove, Ark.; five daughters, Gayle Hoffhine, McLouth, Glenda Huff, Fairplay, Mo., and Paula Cook, Teresa Ellis and Patty Calovich, all of Tonganoxie; a sister, Sharon Dodd, McLouth; two brothers, George, Oskaloosa, and Duane, McLouth; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
