Norma L. Simmons

Shawnee ? Graveside services for Norma L. Simmons, 67, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shawnee Mission Memorial Gardens in Shawnee.

Ms. Simmons died Friday, Jan. 23, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 10, 1936, the daughter of Robert and Alice Swanson. She lived in Kansas City, Kan., all her life.

Ms. Simmons was an assembler for Polymer Plastics in Kansas City for more than 30 years until she left in 1999.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Stanfield, Kansas City, Kan., and Theresa Tyree, Eudora; a son, Ernie Simmons, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Robert Swanson, Kansas City, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel.

The family suggests memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice.
