Harold C. Seele

Mr. Seele died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community.

He was born July 5, 1908, in St. Louis, the son of Guendher Carl and Anna W. (Teacutter) Seele.

Mr. Seele moved with his family from St. Louis to a ranch in Manhattan and then to Lawrence in 1920, where he attended school.

He was a farmer and dairyman.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Mount Oread Aerie No. 309.

Survivors include a sister, Clara Christenson, Lawrence; and a nephew, Leslie Christenson, Brooklyn Heights, N.Y.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where family will receive them from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.

The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, sent in care of the funeral home.
