Violet K. Abel
Brunswick, Maine ? Services for Violet K. Abel, 71, Brunswick, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brackett Funeral Home, Brunswick. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Brunswick, in the spring.
Ms. Abel died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, at Central Maine Medical Center, Waterville.
She was born June 7, 1932, in Eudora, Kan., the daughter of Otto and Sarah (Neis) Abel. She graduated from Eudora High School in 1950. She moved to Brunswick from Lawrence, Kan.
She was employed for 15 years in the business office at Parkview Memorial Hospital. She was the church treasurer for 15 years at the Brunswick Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her companion, Loren Feldman, of Sabattus; three sons, Randy Kemberling, of Los Angeles, and Edward Kemberling and Mark Kemberling, both of Brunswick; a daughter, B. Christa Clarkson, of Richmond; two brothers, George Abel and Carl Abel, both of Eudora; three sisters, Minnie Fesmire, Olathe, Kan., Elva Kindred, Eudora, and Marion Shutt, Lawrence; and four grandchildren.
Two sons, Michael Kemberling and Ronald Kemberling, died earlier.
The family will meet friends from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
