Bjorklund, Buffaloes knock off Tigers

? Tera Bjorklund overcame a hyperextended right knee and scored 21 points to help No 15 Colorado to a 71-54 victory over Missouri Sunday.

Kate Fagan added 16 points for Colorado (14-2, 3-1 Big 12 Conference), which beat Missouri at home for the 14th straight time. Bjorklund missed eight minutes in the first half after injuring her knee.

Colorado native Evan Unrau had 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Missouri (9-6, 0-4).

The Buffaloes led 41-30 at the break, but failed to score a field goal in the first 5:30 of the second. The Tigers took advantage and closed within four points.

Fagan hit a three-pointer from the right baseline, pushing the Buffs’ lead to seven.

Missouri’s Tracy Lozier finished with 11 points. She made three three-pointers and set a school record for career three-pointers with 125, breaking the mark of 123 set by Julie Helm.
