I don’t run Cineplex Entertainment movie theaters, but I do a lot of other things. A holding company, I’m one of the largest diversified financial corporations in the United States. I own 90 percent of CNA Financial Corp., one of America’s largest insurance organizations, 54 percent of Diamond Offshore Drilling, 97 percent of watch- and clock-maker Bulova, all of Texas Gas Transmission and its 5,800-mile natural gas pipeline, all of Lorillard, America’s oldest tobacco company, with brand names such as Kent and Newport, and 18 hotels and resorts that bear my name.
