A new booklet on Kansas birds of prey has been published by the Friends of the Great Plains Nature Center. For those who prefer online information, the entire booklet is also available at the GPNC Web site, www.gpnc.org.

Clicking on “The Raptor’s Roost” will take the reader to a site complete with full-color photographs accompanying a host of information on these fascinating animals.

The Pocket Guide to Kansas Raptors is co-authored by Bob Gress, director of the Great Plains Nature Center, and Vanessa Avara, a staff naturalist at the GPNC.
