Roberta Ruth Hoskinson

Baldwin ? Services for Roberta Ruth Hoskinson, 82, Baldwin, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin. Burial will follow in Vinland Cemetery.

Mrs. Hoskinson died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at Vintage Park Assisted Living in Baldwin.

She was born Aug. 30, 1921, in rural Franklin County, the daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Kalb) Hammond. She graduated from Vinland High School and lived in Vinland until 1993, when she moved to Baldwin.

Mrs. Hoskinson was a homemaker and helped on the farm. She was a member of Vinland Church of Christ, Douglas County Farm Bureau and an honorary member of the Vinland Fair Board.

She married Hubert Hoskinson on April 5, 1945. He died June 13, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Patty Irick, Baldwin; four sisters, Eunice York, Buford Ga., Florence Cox, Sedalia, Mo., Edith Denham, Oklahoma City, and Evelyn Thomas, Irvine, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
