4-H, FCE news

  • India FCE will meet at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the home of Norma Leary. She will present a lesson on epilepsy.
  • Stull FCE will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Ruth Ice.
  • The Clinton Eagles 4-H Club met Dec. 6 for a Christmas celebration and caroling. Acting President Kahlyn Heine called the meeting to order. Members answered roll call by naming what they wanted for Christmas. Song leaders Morgan Manger and Delaney Dieker led the club in practicing Christmas carols.

Kahlyn Heine provided the treasurer’s report. Lanaea Heine gave the leader’s report, which included introduction of new 4-H agent Kimberly Davis, a call for Bromelsick Party volunteers, enrollment card information and a request for project leaders. County Club Days also was discussed.

Denise Snodgrass gave an arts and crafts leader report and discussed the club’s first Festival of Trees entry. County achievement celebration awards were announced.

Club members then went caroling in Clinton and enjoyed treats and a gift exchange.

The next meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday at Wakarusa Valley School.
