Fentress services

Altamont ? Memorial services for Beryle Jean Fentress, 76, Altamont, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Altamont.

Mrs. Fentress died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community, Lawrence. She was cremated.

She was born Sept. 7, 1927, in Chetopa, the daughter of Clarence and Bessie Foster Braley.

Mrs. Fentress was a homemaker and an accountant.

She married Dean Fentress on Feb. 11, 1944, in Parsons. He died in 1986. A daughter, Sherri Gartner, died Dec. 18, 2003.

Survivors include a grandson and a great-grandson.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, sent in care of Lawrence Funeral Chapel.
