Oskaloosa steps up on Senior Night
Osklaloosa’s six seniors wouldn’t be denied on Senior Night, helping the Bears to a 52-44 victory over Highland Friday night.
The Bears, 8-11 overall and 5-3 in conference play, trailed 44-41 with 4:15 left, outscoring the visitors 11-0 the rest of the way.
“The seniors came a long way this year and have exceeded a lot of expectations,” coach Ryan West said. “Our kids picked up the intensity on defense, picked up some loose balls, gave them one shot and shut them down the last four minutes.”

“It was a good high school game,” Ottawa coach David Grover said. “There’s no rest for the weary. We play Sumner Tuesday and Sumner is 16-2.”

Andy Hannon had 31 points and Jeremy Wright 13 for Baldwin (8-11). Spring Hill improved to 14-5.
