Topics for the seminar will include reporter liability in fabrication or plagiarism; how attorneys, editors and producers can address potential fabrication or plagiarism; the embedding of reporters in Iraq; and insurance coverage issues related to reporter misconduct.

The seminar is sponsored by Kansas University, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Assn.’s Media Law Committee, and the American Bar Assn.’s TIPS Media Law Committee.
