Veritas nabs 70-56 win

? The Veritas Christian boys basketball team nailed nine three-pointers en route to a 70-56 victory Tuesday over Eagle Heights Christian.

Four Eagles drained threes, including three each by Casey Woods and Michael Kay. Sophomore Mark Randtke led all scorers with 24 points.

“We really played well,” coach Doug Bennett said. “We finally put both our offense and our defense together in a game.”

Woods and Kirk Long each added 11 for the Eagles (6-12). They’ll wrap up the regular season Friday with a home game against Flint Hills Christian. The game will be played at Haskell Indian Nations University’s Tecumseh Gym.
