Kansas University shortstop Destiny Frankenstein, pitcher Kara Pierce and outfielder Mel Wallach were named to the all-tournament team at last weekend’s Fast-Pitch Express Classic in San Antonio.

Pierce compiled a 2-0 record and a 1.40 earned-run average with 16 strikeouts. Frankenstein hit .353 and stole five bases. Wallach hit .438 with three doubles and a triple.

KU, now 7-4 after going 5-0 in the Express Classic, will travel this weekend to a tournament in Santa Barbara, Calif.
