Lee Barnhart

Overland Park ? Services for Lee Barnhart, 61, Overland Park, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Newcomer’s Johnson County Chapel in Overland Park.

Mr. Barnhart died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004.

He was born March 28, 1942, in Marian, the son of Barney and Mickey Barnhart. He graduated from Kansas University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Mr. Barnhart was a magazine journalist for many years but most recently drove a parts truck for O’Reilly Auto Parts in Lawrence.

He and his wife, Barbara, were married Jan. 1, 1982, in Overland Park. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, Roeland Park; a daughter, Kim Downing, Noble, Okla.; a son, Brian George, Oklahoma City; a sister, Joni Olson, Austin, Texas; and three grandchildren.
