Greer services

No services are planned for Lois Irene Greer, 67, Lawrence.

Mrs. Greer died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 27, 1936, in Julesburg, Colo., the daughter of Otto Behymer and Mildred Daum. She was raised in Julesburg, where she graduated high school. She lived in Montana and Colorado before moving to Lawrence in 1983.

Mrs. Greer was kitchen manager at the Noncommissioned Officer’s Club at Malmstrom Air Force Base while she lived in Great Falls, Mont. She was a baker at Kansas University and at the time of her death was a retired chef and homemaker.

She married Clarence Dwight “Ike” Neidigh in 1954 in Julesburg. She later married David Greer in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Reggie W. Neidigh, Conrad, Mont., and Timothy A. Neidigh, Branson, Mo.; a daughter, DeLeis I. Klassen, Vona, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A son, Clarence Neidigh, died in 1953.

The family suggests memorials to the Lois Greer Memorial Fund, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
