Wecker lifts K-State over Villanova
Philadelphia ? Kendra Wecker scored 25 points, leading No. 22 Kansas State past Villanova, 75-63, on Tuesday.
Wecker, who missed the last three games because of a sprained left ankle, added 12 rebounds and five assists.
Laurie Koehn contributed 16 points, Claire Coggins scored 14, and Megan Mahoney had 12 rebounds.
Liad Suez led Villanova with 24 points, and Kate Dessart Mager added 12.
Kansas State (7-2) led, 42-27, at halftime and pushed its lead to 52-31 with 13:51 remaining as Villanova shot just 1-for-10 during the stretch.
