Ruby E. Jansen

Ottawa ? Services for Ruby E. Jansen, 88, Baldwin, will be at 1 p.m. today at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa. Burial will follow in Evergreen Mound Cemetery in Ottawa.

Mrs. Jansen died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at Season’s Care Center in Kansas City, Mo.

She was born June 22, 1916, in rural Franklin County, the daughter of Ammon and Pearl Oyler Altic. She was raised in the Centropolis area and attended Cobb Rural School.

She married Don Jansen on April 14, 1945, in Fort Scott. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, Herb Jansen, Olathe, Donnie Jansen, Buffalo, Okla., Ron Jansen, Carthage, Mo., and Jerry Jansen, Independence, Mo.; a daughter, Judy Clevenger, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; a sister, Alpha Flory, Baldwin; a brother, Orren Altic, Ottawa; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A son, Rex Jansen, died earlier.
