Oskaloosa ? Services for Maude Velma Monroe, 91, Oskaloosa, will be at 3 p.m. today at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Oskaloosa.

Mrs. Monroe died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at her home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1913, in Rooks County near Stockton, the daughter of Harrison Monroe Debutts and Marie Elizabeth Garmen Debutts. She lived in Oskaloosa for many years.

Mrs. Monroe was a homemaker.

She married Theodore G. Monroe on Jan. 6, 1932, in Stockton. He died Nov. 10, 1973.

Survivors include five sons, Dwane Monroe, Leavenworth, Jack Monroe, Kansas City, Kan., Bob Lee Monroe and Larry James Monroe, both of Oskaloosa, and Charles Monroe, Atchison; a brother, Roy Debutts, Lawrence; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

The family will meet with friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
