Mary Ann Crady

? Services for Mary Ann Crady, 79, Eudora, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ives Chapel United Methodist Church in Baldwin. Burial will be in Vinland Cemetery, Vinland.

Mrs. Crady died Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 10, 1925, in Lawrence, the daughter of Hallie J. and Ara E. Hegeman Peterson.

Mrs. Crady was a deli manager at Rusty’s IGA and a clerk at Raney Drug Store. She owned Mari’s Paintin’ Wagon, where she taught painting and sold her work. She was a member of the Decorative Arts Organization, Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary and Ives Chapel United Methodist Church.

She married Ted Crady on Oct. 1, 1943, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Pam McMillen, Tecumseh; two sons, Larry Crady, Topeka, and Ted Crady, Lawrence; a brother, Don Peterson, Modesto, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the mortuary.
