The Lawrence Mentor’s Duplicate Bridge Club met Nov. 17.
Five tables participated in a stratified game that used a Mitchell movement. Don Brennaman directed the game.
Playing North-South, Barb Hamilton and Bill Hamilton claimed first place in A and B. Betty Spalsbury and Bob Anderson were second in A and B and first in C.
Competing East-West, Gladys Dight and Betty Walston swept first place in A, B and C. Ann Thompson and Grant Sutton were second in A, B and C.

University Bridge Club announces the winners of its Nov. 20 game.
Hosts were Al and Carol Smith and Lois Liebert and Marian Lang.
Blue winners were Ed Stellmacher, first; Alice Akins, second; Al Smith, third; John Golden, fourth; and Marian Davis, fifth.
Pink winners were Hazel Stellmacher, first; Jean Khatib, second; Wanda Kring, third; Jane Golden, fourth; and Cathy Waller, fifth.

Playing North-South, Jerry Sloan and Patt Radford claimed first place in A. Betty Spalsbury and Bob Anderson placed second in A and first in B and C. Lester Dalton and Julia Brooks were third in A. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee took fourth in A and second in B.
Competing East-West, Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson took first place in A. Eldon Herd and Glenna Herd were second in A and first in B. Shirlie Vaughn and Sally Taylor tied for third place in A with Jean Otney and Harry Shaffer. Vaughn and Taylor were second in B. Russ LaForce and Lois Clark were first in C. Mike Blumenfeld and Cathy Blumenfeld were second in C.

Bob Anderson and Betty Spalsbury tied for first place in A and B with Eldon Herd and Glenna Herd. Jean Otney and Wanda Durbin finished third in A. Harriett Olson and Don Brennaman were fourth in A and third in C.

Jerry Sloan and Bill Schutzel placed first in A. Kent McCullough and Chuck Hedges tied for second in A with Judy Bevan and Lynn Hui, who were first in B. Russ LaForce and Jo Andersen tied for fourth in A with Clyde Romer and Steve Phelps. LaForce and Andersen placed second in B.
