Registration deadline is Sept. 17 for a Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop Sept. 24-26 at Rock Springs 4-H Center near Junction City.

The workshop offers women a chance to learn about hunting, fishing, orienteering, backpacking, camping and boating.

The fee of $180 includes six meals and two nights in a cabin. The price is $175 if the two nights are spent in a tent. A total of 37 sessions are planned covering the gamut from recreational shotgunning to Dutch oven cooking.
