Erin O’Neil, assistant women’s golf coach at Auburn University, has been named head women’s golf coach at Kansas University.

In her four years at Auburn, O’Neil helped guide the Tigers to three top-10 finishes in the NCAA championship — a tie for second in 2002, fourth in 2001 and ninth in 2003.

Prior to her tenure at Auburn, O’Neil spent three years playing professionally on the Futures Tour and the Asian Tour.

“I am very excited to become a part of the KU family,” said O’Neil. “I look forward to working with the team and helping them move to the next level.”
