Jennifer D. Germann
Services for Jennifer D. Germann, 31, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lawrence. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Maize Park Cemetery, Maize.
Ms. Germann died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 26, 1972, in Hays, the daughter of Richard J. and Debra Mitchell Stiverson. She graduated from Maize High School in 1991. She graduated with honors from Kansas State University in Manhattan in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing, and she received her master’s degree in sports administration from Wichita State University in 1998.
Ms. Germann worked as a senior marketing representative for the Kansas Department of Commerce in Topeka. She also worked for the athletic departments at Wichita State University, Kansas University and University of Missouri-Kansas City.
She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Kansas State University Alumni Assn. and Douglas County Catbackers Assn.
Survivors include her parents, Maize; a sister, Teri Coppoc, Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Jamie Stiverson, Wichita, and Randy Stiverson, Dallas; and grandparents Vern and Nona Stiverson, Maize, Mary K. Mitchell, Clearwater, and Robert D Mitchell, Henderson, Nev.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University, or Oncology Department at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, sent in care of the mortuary.
